Black Woman Married To A White Man Gets Ridiculed On Air...

Talk radio host Dr. Laura Schlessinger issued an apology for saying the N-word several times during an on-air conversation with a caller this week. "I talk every day about doing the right thing. And yesterday, I did the wrong thing," Schlessinger said on her radio show Wednesday.

Schlessinger was referring to a call she got on her show Tuesday from an African-American woman who said she was married to a white man and was getting fed up with her husband allowing his family and friends to say things that she felt were racist.- CNN

What in the tomandhelenwillis Hell is going on? Did the woman ever get some adequate advice?

Sooo many questions *scratches head*  :-/

Here the racial rant phone call after the jump...

  1. Selena, this woman completely lost it on that call. I've been a fan for over a decade, and while I OBVIOUSLY don't agree with everything she says, she does have good advice sometimes. She's ruined her credibility for a lot of folks who had some respect for her.

However, I have noticed in recent years an increase in her inability to actually LISTEN to her callers. She constantly cuts them off, blames the victim, etc.

    For example:

    Got hit by a bus?
Dr. Laura: Dummy, you should have watched where you were going!

    Got cheated on?
Dr. Laura: What did you do to MAKE your husband do it?

    Your husband beats you?
Dr. Laura: Sorry you chose a mate so poorly.

As I mentioned, I’ve listened to her for years, and she’s recently started do this on a regular–her cantankerousness has gotten much worse with age.

  2. Wow!! I heard she got worst later on during the call.

Maybe she's being pressured to change-up her style in order to compete with the other shock jocks(?)

    Unbelieveable *SMH*

  3. No, excuses for bad behavior. The so-called dr. thinks she is better than everyone else. But, she will eventually get hers. She is a horrible woman.

    Yes, I said it.
